Lextran will provide free rides to passengers, including students, on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27, as a form of gratitude to its customers.
According to Lextran, the routes provided on Thanksgiving will follow the Sunday schedule, rather than the Thursday route.
The following routes are unavailable on Thanksgiving:
Route 14 – UK Blue and White Routes
Route 16 – Southland Drive
Route 17 – Northside Connector
Route 18 – Centre Parkway Connector
Route 22 – Mercer Road
Route 24 – Old Frankfort Pike
Route 27 – UK Yellow Route
Route 51 – Night – Woodhill Drive
Route 52 – Night – Georgetown Road
Route 58 – Night – Versailles Road
Route 59 – Night – Eastland
Lextran’s Customer Service phone line will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving and can text “LX” and their stop number to 321-123 for additional updates.
According to Lextran, they will return to regular operations on Friday, Nov. 28.
