Co-director of the Kentucky Open Government Coalition, Scott Horn, gives his “State of the First Amendment Address” in the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. Horn in his speech talks about the benefits of having artificial intelligence in our society and how it can improve our workplaces. However, Horn also points out the harming effects AI has in our society and how its mass surveillance and censorship is an attack on our First Amendment rights. Jay Nolan after Horn’s speech received the James Madison award for his efforts in fighting for the First Amendment.
