Hailey Davis is a returning gymnast at the University of Kentucky. In the days leading up to her sophomore year, Davis heard the devastating news of her father’s unexpected death. During the most challenging period of her life, Davis decided to dedicate her floor routine to her late father with his favorite music, ‘80s rock ’n’ roll. Although flipping and leaping around the gym could not bring her father back, the sheer joy she knew her dad experienced watching her celebrate his life through gymnastics was enough to keep her going.
