The Wildcats got a run back in the fifth, but Joe Powell launched a homer on the second pitch thrown by Tommy Skelding that moved the Bulldogs lead back to two runs at 6-4.

Following another strikeout, a double brought home the final two runs of the game and capped off an eight-run inning that inflated the Bulldogs lead to 14-4.
