University of Kentucky students celebrated their graduation during the inaugural Community Commencement, after UK canceled commencement celebrations for minority students.
Cancelations included the First Generation Student Pinning ceremony, the Lavender Graduation ceremony for LGBTQ+ students and the Harambee Unity Graduation Celebration honoring Black students.
