A Louisville man was arrested in connection with a reported on-campus sexual assault, according to WKYT.
Angus Thompson, 18, was arrested on charges of first-degree rape, according to WKYT, for the Feb. 18, 2025, assault detailed in the University of Kentucky’s sixth crime bulletin.
UK Crime Log described the incident offenses as first-degree rape and second-degree strangulation.
The crime bulletin said the Feb. 18 assault, reported on Feb. 22, occurred in an unknown residence hall and that the two suspects were known to the victim.
According to the Kentucky Court of Justice, Thompson’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1 p.m.
