Voter registration deadlines quickly approach, here’s how to register.
When it comes to registering to vote there are a few options. Many states have online registration, alongside the option to register by mail or in person.
To register online in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, visit the Voter Information Guide to register as a new voter or update voter information. In Kentucky, a valid driver’s license number and social security number are required to register.
The last day to register to vote in Kentucky is Oct. 7, 2024. Mail-in registration must be postmarked by Oct. 7, 2024, according to the United States voting website.
Many states have online registration options. Out-of-state college students can visit their home state’s election website to register to vote from UK.
Mail-in voter registration can be done by printing out the National Voter Registration form, found at the United States Election Assistance Commission under the voting tab, and mailed on the same day.

In-person registration can be done at local county clerk offices in Kentucky.
