While many football fans are enjoying UK’s 3-0 start to the season, the SEC announced the 2018 football schedule for all SEC schools on Tuesday afternoon.

UK’s schedule opens with a home game against Central Michigan on Sept. 1. The Cats are 6-0 all-time versus Central Michigan, with the last contest taking place in 2011.

The Cats will follow their season-opener up with a trip to Florida and three home games against Murray State, Mississippi State and South Carolina. The Cats are coming off their fourth consequtive victory over South Carolina last Saturday.

The last time UK played Murray State was in 2003, when the Cats won 37-6 in the only game played between the two opponents.

On Oct. 6, the Cats will travel to Kyle Field in College Station, Texas for the first time since 1952 to take on Texas A&M. The Cats are 1-1 in the series against the Aggies, and lost the most recent game 6-7.

Following an open weekend after the Texas A&M game, the Cats will face their usual opponents such as Vanderbilt, Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee and Louisville. Before the season finale at Louisville, the Cats will host Middle Tennessee State for the first time since 2008.

The game against Middle Tennessee on Nov. 17 will also serve as Senior Day since it’ll be the final home game of the 2018 season.
