Matt House leaving Kentucky for Kansas City Chiefs, reports say

University of Kentucky defensive coordinator Matt House has taken a job with the Kansas City Chiefs as their linebackers coach, per Kentucky Sports Radio. This report was also confirmed by UK Sports Network and the Courier Journal. 

The report comes after UK announced over the weekend that House would be staying in Lexington. 

House has previously coached in the NFL before with the Carolina Panthers and the then-St. Louis Rams. Kentucky has not yet officially announced Matt House’s departure.
