Starting May 11, William T. Young Library parking and pedestrian routes are being worked on through the end of the year.
Part of the construction includes two projects: a basement renovation and a roof replacement of the building.

Below are the time frames listed that impact parking and other routes.
May 11-Dec. 31
Access to the library loading dock will be periodic throughout the project construction. This area will be used for construction dumpsters and crane placement.
May 11-Aug. 10
The roof replacement will impact several parking locations seen in the image above. This includes 16 parking spaces in the Columbia Avenue West Lot, due to dumpsters being placed in this area.
A crane will also be placed periodically in Area B, as seen in the image.
A roofing material trailer will be temporarily blocking the library drop-off area.
An estimated 10 parking spaces in the visitor lot will be unavailable periodically due to roofing materials being stored near the lot until June 11.
Further questions and information can be found through the University of Kentucky Transportation Services.
