Tied at four entering the twelfth inning, the Cats scored a run on an RBI single by junior Cameron Flynn. But, the Hoosiers answered, scoring on a single to match UK and extend the game.
After a leadoff single in the twelfth, freshman Austin Cousino scored on a balk with two outs to plate the eventual winning run, as the No. 7 Cats won 5-4.
Freshman A.J. Reed pithed 5.1 innings of relief, only giving up one run on four hits with six strikeouts.
