Washington Wizards point guard John Wall, who has yet to play this season while rehabbing a stress injury to his left knee, has been given full medical clearance to return to action.

Wall is set to make is season debut Saturday during Washington’s game against the Atlanta Hawks at the Verizon Center.

After practicing with the team Friday, Wall spoke to members of the press gathered in the Wizard’s dressing room.

“It feels exciting to be out here with my team mates,” he said.

Wall returns to a team who could certainly use his help. Washington has lost 28 of its 33 games this season without the former UK standout in the lineup.

Looking ahead to his return against the Hawks, Wall said he was keen to help his teammates turn their season around.

“I just want to come in and just fit in… be the missing piece,” he said.
