UK student wins Miss Kentucky

UK student Jenna Day won the Miss Kentucky 2013 beauty pageant on Saturday.
The vocal performance and political science double major student won the three-day long pageant held at the Singletary Center for the Arts.
Day will go on to represent Kentucky at the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, N.J., on Sept. 15.
The Louisville native was also awarded a $12,000 scholarship towards her studies and a new car.
