Street Craves and Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers closed its doors Thursday, March 2. Its owners have decided to focus on their expanding burger concept Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers, according to a press release from the restaurant group, Spartan Pastabilities.

According to Spartan Pastabilities, Street Craves and Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers located on South Limestone were joint fast, casual dining concepts. The Street Craves location allowed for the restaurant group to test the casual dining concepts in the Lexington market.

The owners are now focused on Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers, a casual gourmet burger concept. The burger concept has been gaining national attention in recent years.

While the future possibility of a new Street Craves is uncertain, those who enjoyed Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers won’t have to worry. According to a news release, the owners of the burger concept are pursuing development agreements in the Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati areas.
