Work experience among top regrets for college graduates

According to a new Pew Research study, college students most regret not gaining more work experience while in college. In fact, nearly 50 percent say that that is their biggest regret after graduating.

The second biggest regret was not studying harder at 38 percent and not looking for work sooner was third at 30 percent. The fourth biggest regret was not choosing a different major at 29 percent.

Although a third of college graduates said they regretted majoring in social science, liberal arts or education (on the other hand, 24 percent of science and engineering graduates said they regretted their major), this study found that experience, not your major, is more important.
