Kentucky football secured one of its biggest wins in program history on Saturday night when they snapped the 31-game losing streak to the Florida Gators with a 27-16 win in Gainesville.

Several people took to Twitter to congratulate the Cats on their historic win that will be remembered for ages, including some of UK’s and Kentucky’s most prominent people.

Several former UK football players congratulated the Cats on getting a win that many were not able to do.

Not long after securing the win, some of Kentucky’s current players we’re able to share what the win means for the team.
