Senior defensive tackle Tymere Dubose was suspended in Saturday’s Senior Day game against Middle Tennessee State University, much to everyone’s surprise.

UK radio reported at the start of the game that the reason Dubose did not dress was because of a one-game suspension for a “violation of team rules.”

“It wasn’t a difficult decision. Tymere and I talked about it and I actually gave him an option on a couple games,” Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops said after the press conference.

Dubose has three total tackles on the season, 1.5 tackles for loss and half a sack.
