Alabama police issue arrest warrant for former UK basketball player DeMarcus Cousins

There is currently a warrant out for former UK basketball player DeMarcus Cousins’ arrest in Mobile, Alabama, police said.

Cousins played for the Wildcats from 2009-2010.

Cousins is originally from Mobile, and came to UK for basketball. After his time at UK, he was drafted by the Sacramento Kings and currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, TMZ released audio of a phone call with a man telling a woman, “I’m gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f***ing head.”

According to online court records, Cousins is wanted for third-degree harassing communications and domestic violence, ESPN reported.
