As first reported by Derek Terry of Bat Cats Central, Kentucky baseball pitcher Chase Alderman will miss the remainder of the 2025 season with a torn ACL.
Alderman joined the Wildcats via the transfer portal from EKU where he missed the 2024 season recovering from a UCL injury.
In his freshman year with the Colonels, Alderman tossed 44.2 innings and pitched to a 4.43 ERA while striking out 43 hitters. Opponents hit just .235 off the right-hander.
The Morehead, Kentucky, native was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Freshman Team for his efforts in 2023.
Alderman did not appear in any games for Kentucky this season but has three years of eligibility left in his collegiate career.
