UK head coach Rich Brooks has done a disservice to all those associated with UK by allowing Ashton Cobb to remain on the football team. Cobb is a coward and a criminal and, in my opinion, has forfeited any right he once had to represent the university on the football field and to attend this institution free of charge. By allowing Cobb to remain on the team, Brooks is reinforcing the idea that athletic prowess is more important than character in intercollegiate sports. I urge Coach Brooks to reconsider his decision.

Furthermore, I urge Cobb to be a man and leave the team to avoid tainting his teammates, and the rest of the student body, with his despicable actions.
