Follow along with blogger Sarah Wainright as she live blogs the Awesome Issues Mayor Forum at Awesome, Inc. downtown. The four mayor candidates will answer questions from both the traditional media and new media, with lots of different coverage of the event. The live blog will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. and comments are welcome.

Mayor Jim Newberry, Vice Mayor Jim Gray, former Mayor Theresa Isaac and technology manager Skip Horine will participate in the forum. Representatives from the Kernel, the Herald-Leader, WKYT-TV, the UK College Republicans and the blog Barefoot and Progressive will ask the candidates two questions each.

The forum is sponsored by the Scripps Howard First Amendment Center at UK. Journalism professor Kakie Urch will moderate the live event.
