The robbery that allegedly occurred on campus Friday morning did not happen, an email from UK Police said Friday afternoon.

A UK Alert was issued at about 5 a.m. Friday  and said a victim was in the “Blue” lot at Commonwealth Stadium near the bus shelter when two men physically assaulted and robbed him.

Around noon, police sent a campus-wide e-mail that said the robbery did not occur this morning, and that the officers had encountered a victim who “had sustained an injury consistent with a fall or an assault.” Officers later determined the injury did not occur on campus, the e-mail said.
