Sophomore forward Kyle Wiltjer was named SEC Player of the Week Monday after his standout performance Friday night in UK’s 72-69 win over Maryland.

Wiltjer had 19 points, six rebounds, three blocks and two assists to lead the Cats. His four three-pointers were a career high, as were his three blocks.

UK returns to the court Tuesday night when they meet No. 8 Duke at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
