UK VP hired at Pa. school: Anderson named provost and VP of academic affairs

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa. announced Dr. Heidi M. Anderson as new provost and vice president of academic affairs Monday morning, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Anderson will begin her new post July 1. For 11 years Anderson has mostly worked as a vice president for institutional effectiveness at UK.

According to UK’s website, she currently oversees the UK’s accreditation process, strategic planning and assessment.

Anderson is also a tenured professor in pharmacy. Anderson received her BS, MS and Ph.D. from Purdue University.

She is replacing Dr. Russel J. DiGate, who left in July and will take over for interim provost Dr. Peter Miller.
