Robbery reported on campus

UK Police received a report around 1 p.m. Tuesday of a “strong-arm” robbery at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Press Avenue.
The victim, a female UK student, was approached by an unknown man who reportedly tried to force her to give him her phone, according a UK Police Department press release.
When the victim refused to comply, the man reportedly pushed her, according to the release.
The suspect then fled toward campus, according to the release.
The suspect is being described as a 5-foot-11-inch thinly built black man in his 20s, according to the release.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a graphic design and a baseball cap, according to the release.
