Career center to host fall employer showcase

UK’s Stuckert Career Center will host its fall Employer Showcase this week, offering students a chance to meet prospective employers and check out options for careers in their field, according to the center’s website.
The fall showcase is Tuesday and Wednesday from noon-4 p.m. in the Student Center Grand Ballroom.
Students have the option to attend one or both days, which are divided based on companies that are seeking technical or non-technical employees.
According to the center’s website, the technical day (Tuesday) will focus on computer science, construction, engineering, information technology and scientific research jobs.
The non-technical day (Wednesday) will focus on employers who are seeking candidates for accounting, finance, consulting, communication, health care, nonprofit and sales jobs.
Students are encouraged to be prepared to meet potential employers and to bring an up-to-date resume with them.
