Ben Rector to perform at Singletary Center Wednesday night

Pop rock artist Ben Rector will perform at the Singletary Center for the Arts 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Rector is touring to support his new album, “Brand New,” which was released in August. The album rocketed to the No. 9 spot on the Billboard 200 charts within the first week it was released, adding to a series of previous Top 20 hits.

Rector, a 28-year-old from Nashville, Tenn., has received much critical acclaim since he broke out as an artist with his third album, “Into the Morning,” in 2010.

Admission to the concert is $25 on etix.com. Students are eligible for discounted pricing at $22 with a valid student ID, and are allowed up to one guest at the discounted price.
