Coffea to reopen Wednesday
June 19, 2016
After announcing the coffee shop would close permanently on June 12, Coffea is scheduled to reopen this Wednesday at its original location.
Coffea announced the reopening on Facebook Friday and said the shop will “look a bit different.”
Coffea was to go out of business due to owner David Lee moving out of town and some business troubles, Coffea’s General Manager Will Hurst told the Kentucky Kernel when the coffee shop initially closed.
The Lexington Herald-Leader recently reported BurgerFi is moving into Coliseum Plaza, which is the building Coffea is housed in. The plaza is located on the corner of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue.
