It’s no secret that Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis are what the kids today call “BFFs.”

Their chemistry on the court was displayed during their freshman year at Kentucky. Their friendship was renewed when Ulis was selected by the Phoenix Suns 34th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft to join Booker in Arizona.

Since then, they haven’t lost a step in either aspect.

But now it’s been revealed that Booker, who is nine months younger than Ulis, has taken on a new role associated his best bud: chauffeur.

Suns beat writer Paul Coro for The Arizona Republic wrote about the two friends in his latest notebook article about the team. It highlights the two’s relationship and how it has changed ever so slightly since Ulis joined Booker in the desert.

Booker’s first job with Ulis is best friend, a role he grew into after they met in eighth grade on the basketball club circuit. They chose Kentucky together, but Booker got a head start on a pro career by coming out a year earlier to set up his other self-described job for Ulis.

“I’m his agent,” Booker jokes.
