UK’s internet service went on the fritz Tuesday morning. 

Two of UK’s internet connections in Frankfort experienced “a major loss of service,” according to an email sent to the College of Communication and Information listserv. 

The morning email, from UK’s Analytics and Technologies, said a fiber was cut. A second email sent out Thursday afternoon said Windstream estimated the repairs to be complete between midnight on Thursday to 5 a.m. on Friday.

“We are fully engaged with our service providers and have escalated this to our highest level,” the email said.
