In a changeup that likely won’t mean much in UK’s matchup with the winless Austin Peay, sophomore quarterback Luke Wright will be the starter in place of Stephen Johnson. 

It was announced by UK that Johnson had injured his knee in last week’s road loss to Tennessee and that was the reason for the lineup change. Johnson will dress for the game but will sit unless an “emergency” situation comes up. 

Wright will be seeing game action for just the second time this season, as he was inserted into the game earlier this season against New Mexico State. But he has yet to attempt a pass. 

Wright still won’t likely be utilized much, with UK’s ground game able to provide more than enough for an comfortable victory.
