When the UK men’s basketball team takes on No. 2 Kansas Saturday, fans should expect to watch the Cats in a much louder environment.

A representative from Guinness Book of World Record will make an appearance to witness an attempt the loudest indoor crowd cheer. The Big Blue Nation is challenged by the Sacramento Kings, who set the record in November 2013.

UK Athletics has coined the hashtag ‘#TurnUpRupp’ to get the fans excited for the three recordings. The first crowd recording will take place just before tip-off and the remaining two will be recorded later in the game.

Not only will Guinness be in attendance, but famous boxing announcer Michael Buffer will visit Rupp Arena once again Saturday evening to get the fans ready for the battle. Buffer last appeared at Rupp this past Big Blue Madness.

However, the Cats face a more difficult challenge as they take on 18-2 Jayhawks.  Both teams come off losses, which could give UK an advantage especially with everything that is going on.

Saturday’s UK vs. Kansas game is set to tip off at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN.
