Record number of students on Dean’s List

The Fall 2016 Dean’s List was released this week.

A record 7,408 students made the Dean’s List, which requires either a 3.5 or 3.6 Grade Point Average depending on the UK college. Students must also earn 12 or more credits in the semester.

UK Provost Tim Tracy said the university is extremely proud of the record number of students.

“The most important question we ask ourselves each day is, ‘How do we help students succeed?’ That question is driving our efforts to better align student support services like advising and tutoring, and to focus on the four pillars of student success— academic success, financial stability, wellness and belonging,” Tracy said.
