UKPD informs campus of sexual assault report

The UK Police Department sent a crime bulletin to all of campus Thursday afternoon regarding a sexual assault report.

According to the report UKPD received on Thursday from a student, the alleged sexual assault occurred between 12:50 a.m. and 2 a.m. on April 26 on campus. 

The student entered an Uber vehicle at 12:50 a.m. from a local establishment. According the bulletin, the Uber driver passed her residence hall, the destination for the Uber ride, and instead drove to Parking Structure #2 on Hilltop Avenue.

The student reported that she was “kissed and touched inappropriately on the outside of her clothing,” according to the crime bulletin.

The vehicle was described as a red, 4-door Chevrolet Spark, and the driver is described as an approximately 33-year-old white man, 5’10” tall and weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
