A minor fire started in the bathroom area of the UK tennis courts around 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.

UK spokesperson Kathy Johnson said there were no injuries and “not much damage.”

Johnson said it appeared to be an electrical fire.

A student who saw the fire called the UK Police Department using one of the blue emergency phones on campus.

The Lexington Fire Department also responded. 

The tennis courts are located on south campus near the Johnson Center.
