West Main Street and Vine Street from Jefferson Street to Broadway will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the Lexington Center said via email.

Downtown traffic will be slowed or diverted due to the street closures and the occurrence of multiple downtown events, according to the email said.

Bill Owen, President and CEO of the Lexington Center, said people planning on attending those events should “arrive early and allow extra time to find a parking spot.”

Owen said parking is available on High Street, Manchester Street and West Main Street.

The streets will be closed specifically for the Bourbon Chase event in Triangle Park, the email said. Other Lexington Center events, such as the KY Reptile Show, the Signature Productions Spa Show, the Hardrock Productions MMA event and the Troubadour Concert Series will also contribute to downtown traffic.
