A man reportedly sexually assaulted a female UK student in her residence hall on Friday night, a UK Police Department crime bulletin stated.

A black male who is described as 5-foot-11, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in her dorm room, the crime report stated. He knows the victim, and he is not a UK student.

It is not clear at this time what dorm the alleged assault occurred in. Those who have any information about the incident are encouraged to call UKPD at (859) 257-857.

UK Police issued the crime bulletin in compliance with the “Timely Notice” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crimes Statistics Act of 1998.
