Ole Miss Threats

Breein Tyree is close to the top in several statistical categories in the SEC, including third in scoring (18.3) and free throw percentage (83.2). He also ranks fifth in field goal percentage (48.4) and seventh in three-pointers made (2.2 per game). Currently, Tyree is the only player in the SEC to rank in their conference’s top 10 in scoring, free throw percentage, field goal percentage and threes made.

Guards Breein Tyree and Terence Davis have become something of a dynamic duo, averaging 34.3 PPG combined in conference games and averaging 44.4 percent of the team’s scoring this season. In SEC play, they are the highest scoring pair of teammates.

“Well, they’re two of the better guards in the conference if not the country. Those are guys that have been around college basketball for a while now. When you watch them play on film you see that,” UK assistant coach Tony Barbee said of Tyree and Davis.

“They’re really good. They’re really good and playing well. They shoot the 3. They drive the ball. They create fouls. They create opportunities for bigs. They’re really good,” UK head coach John Calipari said.

Bruce Stevens is coming off his third career double double (10 points, 10 rebounds) against Arkansas. Sophomore guard Devontae ranks 4th in the SEC averaging 1.8 steals per game. As a team, they shoot 77.5 percent from the free throw line, leading the SEC and ranking seventh nationally in free throw percentage.
