UK Community of Concern is offering basic needs funding for students who “are experiencing acute financial needs related to COVID-19.”

The funds can be used to help pay for housing including utilities like electric, internet, gas, and cell phone bills. They can also be used for food.

Students in need of assistance may fill out the online form and “a Community of Concern staff person will evaluate each referral and determine what follow up (if any) is necessary to address the concerns.”

Students who complete the form will not be anonymous, but UK said they will “do everything we can to preserve the identity of the submitter.”
