Kentucky women’s golfer Elin Pudas Remler was named the SEC Freshman Golfer of the Week.
Pudas Remler has finished in the top 10 twice in her first three collegiate starts including finishing tied for third at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational.
In her most recent start, the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational, Pudas Remler posted scores of
70, 71 and 72, leading to a 3-over-par score of 213 including 10 birdies.
Through nine career rounds, four have been even-par or better.
She boasts a 72.2 average round score. Her career-best came in her first start with a score of 69, 3-under-par, contributing to her best finish of third place at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational.
Kentucky finished its fall season on Monday, Oct. 28, in the fall iteration of the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
