Board of Trustees faculty candidates narrowed to 3

The Board of Trustees faculty position has been narrowed to three candidates, according to a press release.
The candidates are John Wilson, College of Medicine; Sheldon Steiner, College of Arts and Sciences; and Terry Conners, College of Agriculture. Voting for the final round will be this week.
The election comes after the unexpected departure of former trustee Joe Peek, who left to take a position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Peek’s three-year term expires June 30, 2013, and the newly elected representative will serve until then.

The results are:
John Wilson, 453 votes
Sheldon Steiner, 305 votes
Terry Conners, 150 votes
Donna Smith, 106 votes
