July 22, 2016
On Thursday, UK football players got the first look of their new training facility.
UK Athletics said on their website that the facility, dubbed simply The Kentucky Football Training Facility, is worth $45 million and covers 100,000 square feet. The new facility is adjacent to Commonwealth Stadium.
The UK Board of Trustees approved the funding for the facility in 2014. Previously, the team trained in the Nutter Field House.
