The expansion construction of the High Street parking lot has been completed, and as a result 77 parking spaces have been added to the lot.

The lot located at the corner of East High Street and Southern Martin Luther King Boulevard, previously had 81 spaces, and now has 158 spaces, according to a UKNow article by Chrissie Balding Tune.

A previous Kentucky Kernel article said the lot will be used as parking for UK employees on north campus, including UK Healthcare Good Samaritan Hospital and Kentucky Utilities building employees.

Cars must enter and exit the lot on South Martin Luther King Boulevard until improvements are completed.
