The Lexington Fire Department was called out to Winslow Street because of an underground gas leak, prompting a closure of the street pending an investigation.

According to the Lexington-Fayette County Local Emergency Planning Committee’s Twitter page, the road was shut down for Columbia Gas to work on resolving the issue.

Winslow Street is on northern campus, by Kennedy’s Wildcat Den.
