Bourbon-related TV show coming to Kentucky
October 2, 2017
A new family comedy is coming to Kentucky, based on none other than a bourbon distillery.
The 30-minute NBC show is set to be called “Sour Mash” and will feature a Latina chemist who moves from Brooklyn to Kentucky to revive a failing distillery in Kentucky. As the master distiller at the family-owned business, she must deal with the eccentric family and adjust to her new lifestyle.
The show is written by Michael Gagerman and Andrew Waller, who both were writers for “Blacklist,” and one of the producers is Vertigo Entertainment, who also produced “It.”
No casting decisions or air dates have been released yet.
