UK students, faculty and staff may be affected by UK Information Technology Services technical maintenance and upgrades that will be occurring this weekend.

A campus-wide email from ITS warned that the maintenance will cause systems to be offline or have limited functionality. 

Beginning at 5 p.m. tonight, myUK portal, myUK mobile app, and all SAP systems will be unavailable. The maintenance will end on 7 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11. 

Students should be aware that this might affect them as they prepare for finals week.

Later in the month, after finals are finished, WiFi and other services will be impacted on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Both wired and wireless internet access will be unavailable on campus and at UK HealthCare locations, as well as the Virtual Private Network, UK email, remote desktop and VirtualDen.
