UK basketball’s internal investigation finds no violations

A day after three former or current Kentucky players were listed on documents relating to the FBI’s college basketball investigation, UK announced that its internal investigation into the manner found no wrongdoing.
UK’s investigation was likely focused on Kevin Knox, who is the only current UK player listed on the document. Knox reportedly had a meeting or meal with ASM Sports agent Christian Dawkins, who is at the forefront of the college basketball scandal.

At Friday’s press conference, John Calipari said he doesn’t expect Kevin Knox to be absent from Saturday’s game against Missouri, and the conclusion of UK’s investigation likely confirms that the forward freshman will be available for tonight’s game. Knox is UK’s leading scorer this season and a vital member toward the team’s success.
All the reports regarding the FBI investigation have been brought up by Yahoo! Sports. The FBI has made no formal announcement about its investigation into college basketball recruiting.
