Lexington Police are investigating an incident on Friday when a man apparently fell from a third-floor balcony at The Lex apartments. 

Lexington Police spokeswoman Brenna Angel said that the victim was 19 years old and was found after midnight on Friday morning with a severe head injury. The man is a resident at The Lex, she said.

As of late Friday morning, Angel said that it is still not clear if the man fell or jumped from the balcony. 

The Lex is located at 521 S. Broadway, not far from UK’s campus.
