The 24-hour dance marathon at the University of Kentucky, known as Dance Blue, has now been a student ran organization for 20 years. Dance Blue this year raised just over $2.3 million which breaks the previous year’s $2.1 million. This is the most money they have ever raised and the funds go towards the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic for children battling cancer. Dancers from the marathon speak on what makes this year of stand out and the growth from the first Dance Blue to this year’s Dance Blue.
