The University of Kentucky Police Department released a crime bulletin detailing an on-campus sexual assault reported on Nov. 13.
According to the crime bulletin, the assault occurred when the victim was walking near the intersection of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue during the “overnight hours” of Nov. 10.
The suspect was unknown to the victim and has been identified by police, according to the crime bulletin. The investigation is ongoing.
This is the fifth sexual assault crime bulletin sent to the campus community since the semester began in August of this year.
UKPD encouraged the community to avoid traveling alone at night, establish “affirmative consent” before engaging in sexual activities, request a free SAFECATS student safety escort and request Wildcab Vouchers.
